College for two years at the sweet age of 16. Then went on to work with Jack
and Irving.

Why did you choose Hairdressing as a career?
Because I am very creative and love fashion, make up and making people look
and feel fabulous.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy seeing guests return to the salon to have their hair done either by
myself or my fab team. The music, the aroma of working with AVEDA and the
satisfaction of having a busy and friendly salon.

What’s your favourite fashion label?
Armani, Isabella Oliver, Mulberry, French connection.

Who are your favourite band of music?
Dance music, stew sailor, mumford and sons, neil diamond, Fleetwood mac.

What else do you enjoy from life?
Snowboarding is my passion, arriving at the top of a munroe, going to the
gym, my beautiful son Flynn, friends and family, food, wine adventure and
holidays!

Hairdressing Background.
Started working in Jack and Irvine in 1985 when I left school. Worked there
for over 13 years then opened Partners with Pauline in 1998, “Where has the
time gone?”

Why did you choose Hairdressing as a career?
I used to love watching the hairdressers creating some fantastic styles when
I was in getting my hair done. And thought that was the career for me!

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy all aspects of my job but I do love giving my guest the feel good
factor when leaving the salon.

I very much have a wide genre of music but I do love Kasabian.

Love socialising with friends and family, walking biking and snowboarding.

Why did you choose Hairdressing as a career?
Wanted to be creative. Every day is different. Meeting new and interesting
guests, send people out the door happy.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Love working with aveda, customising hair with the products, being taken out
of my comfort zone. giving clients a new look.

Who do admire in the Hairdressing Industry?
There are lots of great hairdressers out there but I admire ones close to me
who I learnt alot from Pauline and Laurie.

15 years altogether. 12 years in Partners and 3 years training in another
salon.

Why did you choose Hairdressing as a career?
Truthfully it was the easier option to leave school but 15years on im glad I
saw it through.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Changing people and making them smile and be happy.

Spending time with my husband and son and being with my friends. I also
enjoy watching the footy!

Did my training in the salon and have now been here 4 and half years now!
Also did my work experience in a salon when I was at school.

Why did you choose Hairdressing as a career?
To make people feel good about themselves. I always coloured my own hair for
years and loved how it was always different. Loved doing other peoples hair
and was always practising on my family!

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Making people feel good and seeing a difference from when they came into the
salon.

Don’t tend to follow fashion make it up as I go. Anything bright and bold
will suit me fine!

Anything I can dance too!

Shopping, socialising with friends and family and spending time with my
boyfriend. Watching the darts!

I started off in a little salon when I was 13 shampooing and cleaning up,
then went to college for 9 months then I came to Partners and done all my
training and have been here 6 years now.

Why did you choose Hairdressing as a career?
My auntie is a hairdresser and I always used to love watching and helping
her out.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy both cutting and colouring

Worked in a salon as a Saturday girl, which then lead to working in another
salon doing my training plus going through the college for 3 and a half
years. Have now been here for 10 months.

Why did you choose Hairdressing as a career?
Always loved seeing hairdressing getting done when I was in the salon
getting my hair done. Like making people feel good about their hair.

Beauty Background.
On finishing my diploma in beauty I started my beauty career in spas.
Firstly gaining my experience in the 5 star spas a Fairmont Hotel St Andrews
then progressing onto the Old course hotel golf resort and spa, (one of the
leading spa’s in the world)

Why did you choose beauty as a career?
Beauty and the skin structure has always interested me, I like to help
people feel and look good.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Meeting new people, teaching people how to look after their skin.
